As I walked by my window this evening I noticed out of the corner of my eye that there was a large smudge in the middle of it. It was too high up for one of my kids to have been smearing their hands over it. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the smudge seemed to have...feathers?!

Ahhh...Fiesta Fun aka "Kid Heaven". Best place for a birthday party with it's arcade games, go-karts, mini-golf, and not bad pizza too! I mean where can you buy tokens for games and win prizes available through any Oriental Trading Catalog? I love it! ;0)

Today's flashback comes to you from 2008 (which was 3 years ago already? what!?). This is one of my favorites too! The kids and I (and the dog too!) had been spending time hiking around in Pioneer Park and I can't believe how young they were and how chipper the dog was then! I love it! ;0)

He was such a cute baby with his little round rosy cheeks and dark brown eyes...I just want to squeeze him still. This was one of my 35mm pics and I took a minute to lighten it up and run a warm wash over the top...I love it! ;0)

My camera died on me yesterday at the park. The battery exhausted after so many POTD's. This is the last picture I got before I had to round up a new set of batteries, isn't it great? My oldest son at the top of the slide. What you can't see is my youngest son behind him attempting to push him down. Kinda like an ant pushing an elephant...haha, I love it!;0)

This week's Flashback comes from one of my old 35mm pics. This is my oldest son as he held his little mouth open in concentration while climbing on the playground. What I did with this was crop it so he was centered in the pic (sorry, I should have saved the original!) and ran a warm wash over it to warm it up. Wow, has it really been 6 years? Insane! ;0) I love it!

You know what happens when you have a little girl who insists she needs to participate in a million things? Yes, a tired Mommy-taxi! We are playing spring soccer for the next couple of months...and since none of the retailers decided to order enough shirts, the rec center gave us a basketball jersey! Eh, I'd feel bad except there were several kids dressed this same way! I love it! ;0)

A little reflective action on this shot of Pine Valley Mountain! This was easily accomplished with a little Photosuite action. I love that it looks like a reflection in a lake! ;0)

The last light of the day as the sun sinks behind the mountains and is swallowed by the horizon. I used my landscape mode with no flash and overexposed the pic and ran a heavy blur effect over the top. Lastly I used my favorite "posterize" effect and I love the result!
