The birthday boy received a surprise birthday present a couple of days ago, a shiny green new bike! We made sure to make use of it today and practice using the hand brakes. I love my quiet neighborhood, it's just perfect for enjoying a bike ride.

I love this picture of my daughter as a baby in 2001! A day at the beach in the sand is so much fun and all that sand just had to taste good right? The evidence is all over her chubby cherubic cheeks! ;0)

Someone has been spreading their political message through my 'hood. Although I echo the sentiment, I question the venue. Makes for a great shot though!

As disgusting as dandelions truly are, I can't get over the beauty of seeds in spherical form. They alight to the breeze with the gentlest of coaxing, only to spread like wildfire across the green carpet elsewhere....

My baby when he was only 2! His chubby little arms, overalls, and perpetual pigeon-toed walk...this is how I'll always think of him. ;0)

This has got to be one of my favorites to date! I drove past these flowers on the side of the road and the sky was a brilliant blue, I knew I had to snap a shot! Rest assured I will painting these as well at some point! ;0)

This gnarled old Cottonwood tree twisted itself around in loops to reach water as it ebbed and flowed. I loved the pink rocks behind...;0)

4/15/11 Flashback Friday

J. Lamb 2010
Not too far for a flashback...just from the beginning of 2010. The kids and I were taking advantage of a sunny January day and enjoying our favorite Pioneer Park. I love that even my oldest boy is smiling in this pic!

Fuzzy-wuzzy...it must be bag worm season! Being a smooze has it down side I suppose...when I asked for a volunteer for a picture, my baby was the first to say, "Me! I will!" I don't think he was to thrilled with the creepy crawly...;0D

It seems today was miserable and rainy and I spent the day spring cleaning...therefore no picture today. I did, however, play a bit with one of my plum blossom shots from a couple of weeks ago. This "sphere" effect almost makes it look like a drop of dew....;0)

One of my 35mm pics from back in the day for this flashback and even 11 years later it makes me laugh! My oldest boy watering Grandma's flowers...or maybe himself a little more! How can you not love it? ;0)
