The babies left the nest this morning (see here) and  I can't believe it's been about a month since I discovered the Mom's unusual place to nest. They were so cute perched on the wall this evening...waiting for the go-ahead from Mom and Dad. ;0)

I'm sorry Baby, I just had to! After I posted the picture of the length of grass in my yard, I had this pathetic sight in my yard. The one handed mow-job! Of course, this was after our neighbor had volunteered to mow it and had to stop by and rib him a little. Tsk...tsk...

I wasn't slacking at all yesterday...nope, that would be Blogger's job. Lame. Anyway, this little stinker has refused to finish learning how to ride his bike. He could go for a few feet and stop with his feet and about wipe out. It's been like this a while, so long that he has outgrown his little bike! I told him I would get him a new bike, but only if he learned how to ride this one really well. Hmm...guess I owe him a new bike! ;0)

A rose by any other name...
My neighbor has the most beautiful roses and I just had to snap a pic or two! I took this and cut out the roses and layered them on top of the original shot in a heavy black and white contrast. Looks great! ;0D
