The original picture of my kids I took with my old standby 35mm camera I've had for ages. I actually scanned the print in my scanner and ran it through my Roxio editor. This is from the days before digital technology with preview screens and all that jazz so, I didn't realized the amount of shadow I was getting with the sun at the kids' back. The changes are subtle, but I overexposed it a tad and layered a warm tone over. The effect lends a bit of an aged quality to the picture and my kids were such babies then, I feel it's appropriate as well!
